Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was slow this week. With no confirmed sales this week. Demand light to moderate. All prices reported on a weighted average.

Domestic Wool Tags - delivered to buyer, greasy basis:

#2 $.30-.35

#3 $.20-.30

The FSA effective LDP rate for wool is unchanged at $.29 per pound. The FSA effective LDP rate for mohair is unchanged at $0 per pound.

Aug. 27

Compared to last week slaughter lambs uneven, mostly steady to $9 higher, except at New Holland $15-20 lower; slaughter ewes mostly weak to $5 lower, instances $10-12 lower; feeder lambs steady to $6 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 8,130 head sold in a one-day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 125 slaughter lambs in Wisconsin. In direct trading feeder lambs steady. 5,600 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs and 10,100 head of formulated sales were $1 higher. 8,118 carcasses sold with 55 lbs. and down lower; 55-85 lbs. $2.51-3.96 higher; 85 lbs. up $7.28 higher.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 2-3 90-160 lbs.:

Ft. Collins, Colo.: wooled 110-125 lbs. $117.50-128; 130-150 lbs. $126-127.50.

SLAUGHTER LAMBS Choice and Prime 1:

Ft. Collins: 60-65 lbs. $140-152.50; 75-80 lbs. $121-150; 80-90 lbs. $114-123; 90-100 lbs. $121-128.

DIRECT TRADING (lambs FOB with 3-4 percent shrink or equivalent):

5,600 Slaughter Lambs shorn and wooled 125-160 lbs. $122-140 (wtd avg $131.97); no dressed sales reported.

SLAUGHTER EWES:

Ft. Collins: Good 3-4 (very fleshy) $36-41; Good 2-3 (fleshy) $39-47; Utility 1-2 (thin) $30-44; Cull 1 (extremely thin) 21-26.

FEEDER LAMBS Medium and Large 1-2:

Ft. Collins: 50-60 lbs. $164-167.50; 60-65 lbs. $158-166; 70-75 lbs. $134.50-138; 80-90 lbs. $131-140; 90-100 lbs. $132-140.50; 100-110 lbs. $129-136.50; 110-115 lbs. $125-128; 124 lbs. $130.
