CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly lower early Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 5.5 cents to $5.57 a bushel, while December corn shed 2 cents to $3.93 a bushel and oats for December delivery were unchanged at $2.595 a bushel. January soybeans fell 4 cents to $10.35 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle inched up 0.13 cent to 83.8 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.5 cent to 92.32 cents a pound; December lean hogs gained 1.73 cents to 57.7 cents a pound; and February pork bellies edged up 1.43 cents to 88.5 cents a pound.
